Classes

I am taking Statistics and Management. The first statistics class was Wednesday from 6-9pm.

I am rusty on summation and logs. It's been 10 years since I've taken calculus.

The professor said that 35% of the class will make As and the rest will make Bs. The engineers will make the As. Makes sense.

Figuring out when to have dinner and how to pace my day was a challenge. I've started to get up at 6:15 from my usual 7:45. I did this everyday this week and surprisingly feel good.

Homework this weekend, then management on Monday. No turning back now.

Oriantation done.

I sacrificed a weekend to get oriented to the program.

Today was pick a group day.
My group rules.

Our assignment was how to market the school in a foreign land. A global expansion project.

After we presented our idea, we were then paired with another group to combine and present the group idea.



Long weekend. Exhausted.

I'm Back

It's been a while...

I haven't posted to this blog since January. That's because company X who was paying for the degree and I broke up. While doing some life searching, I had a great breakfast with a very important venture capitalist. He said if I had to fund the rest of the $90k myself that it was not worth it.

So I took a semester off. I went to the classmates year end party and felt like I got half a tattoo. So I decided to go back.

N-Y-? told me I had to reapply. And spend $200 to reapply. I got back in. I took a meeting to discuss what classes would transfer. All of them would, but the credits would not. So it would still cost me the full amount to get the degree. So the first $35k they gladly took, and let me pass accounting, but I still have to fund the whole thing. Amazing. If you're considering this school, be forwarded...

I passed my first semester!
